About Us
Beautify the Meek is a non-profit faith-based organization that encourages self-improvement, spiritual and personal improvement, while providing life-skill training, cosmetic, skin care, beauty and personal care, motivational conferences and coaching primarily along the Mississippi Gulf Coast and surrounding Gulf Coastal regions. Beautify the Meek will provide dressy-casual to business attire, skin-care classes, beautification consulting and products for disadvantaged and under-served women who are transitioning from job-training to job preparation, battered women shelters, women-to-women mentorship, mother-and-daughter mentorship and strength building, and those who have suffered life-crisis and seeking to get in the job market. Beautify the Meek also desires to build partnership to provide hairpieces, wigs, weaves, and cosmetics to financially disadvantaged and under-served people who have suffered from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis. Beautify the Meek resuscitates and revitalizes people by empowering and enriching lives through a multitude of holistic training, charitable assistance, partnerships, beautification, educational and image training, and the love of Jesus Christ. For the LORD taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation. Psalm 149:4
Beautify the Meek desires to build partnerships with communities, corporate, small to mid size, local businesses, law enforcement, financial institutions, foundations, churches, and government entities to make this community a better place for all citizens, particularly those that have been under-served. Katrina Currie - Founder/Chair
Education: Bachelor of General Studies with Cognates in Literary Works and Technical Writing, Bachelor of Science with an emphasis in Religion, Paralegal Certificate, Image Consultant Credentials, Wardrobe and Color Analysis, and Job/Career Development and Etiquette,. Earned a Master Image Consultant Certification from the awesome and priceless Rena D. Trepanier of TEB Associates International, Online Personal Image Training. Great mentors and encouragers include Lisa Maile who has trained two winners of the Miss America Pageant and various other well known and internationally renowned personalities and the very graceful Bonnie Mahaffey of Polished Professional Image.

Meet Katrina Currie
Our founder and board president, Katrina has a passion for Beautify the Meek which comes from personal experiences. She was emotionally and physically abused in her first marriage. But that's not all. But back in 2000, Katrina began to suffer from autoimmune diseases ranging from Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome while Myositis, Degenerative Arthritis and Myalgia only complicated things further. SLE attacks major organs, tissue, and joints. She ended up losing not only her job and her social life, but her physique too. She has not allowed Lupus or other things to define her, though. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of North Dakota with a Bachelor of General Studies with Cognates in Literary Works and Technical Writing, Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Religion - from Excelsior College of Albany, New York, and a Paralegal Certificate from Colorado State University-Pueblo. Katrina has earned multiple credentials and certificates too. Katrina is a Christian and attributes all of her success and triumphs to her faith, her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. God has allowed her passion to spring forth as an image, personal and career service consultant. Katrina is honored to be the mother of three wonderful boys, De Vaughn, Isaiah, and Joshua. She has the amazing gift of sharing marital covenant with her husband, Malcolm L. Currie, Jr., who stills manages to take her breath away.
